REV. JEREMY RICHARDS, Pastor ~ Jeremy is our brand-new pastor, having been voted in by a unanimous congregational vote on October 9, 2016.

Jeremy grew up in the small town of New Meadows, ID, went to Concordia University here in Portland (majoring in English), and recently graduated from Duke Divinity School in Durham, NC. He was ordained on May 15, 2016, by the Mosaic Church of Clayton (Cooperative Baptist Fellowship) in Clayton, NC. He has served as a student chaplain, a leader in training intern, a chaplain for a transitional housing development, and as a pastoral intern at a rural Methodist church and two Baptist church starts.

Jeremy has been married to his wife, Brie, for five years. Together they graduated from Concordia University, braved the heat and humidity of North Carolina, and found their way back to Portland. They love the outdoors, board games (especially Cribbage), good food and drinks, and their dog Winfield.

Jeremy and Brie are excited about joining Grant Park--a church family that already embodies so many of their own Christian convictions. Grant Park's commitment to its community and the greater city of Portland, to welcoming all, and to becoming greener all resonate with them. They are excited to come alongside Grant Park and join the church as it continues to share the love of Christ with its church family, its community, and the city of Portland.
