Grant Park Neighborhood Clean-Up

Grant Park Neighborhood Clean-Up

On Saturday, May 20th, from 9 AM to 1 PM, Grant Park Church will host the annual Grant Park Neighborhood Clean-Up in our parking lot. This is an opportunity for neighbors to get rid of unwanted items in their homes, yards, and garages, to recycle items properly, and to give unwanted, usable items away to their neighbors for free. There will also be a food drive of canned and dry goods benefitting the William Temple House in Portland.

Food Drive to Benefit the William Temple House

On April 23, we will begin a food drive for the William Temple House in Portland. This amazing organization has been serving the needy in Portland for over 50 years. We will be collecting canned and dry goods for their food pantry. You can bring items on April 23 and on the following four Sundays (through May 21). Look for the food collection barrels outside the sanctuary.

Scholarship Contest

Grant Park Church will host the 2017 Oregon Federation of Women’s Clubs fine arts scholarship contest. This is a live contest, for graduating high school seniors, to win college scholarships in voice, musical instrument, art, and essay.  This is a free event, open to the public.
